With 20+ years under our belts, we have seen the technology sector change vastly and go from strength to strength. With that said, although we have been in the IT industry for a long time, we still take great pride in sharing our experience & creating more client success stories, not just growing our client base. Mathew Horan: Director

Years in the business:

Since day 1 (22 years and counting).

Hobbies:

For exercise I walk 2 miles a day and swim 3 times a week, however, traveling to different countries and experiencing culture is my favourite pastime.

My burning desire is to:

Learn to play my Martin Guitar.

Something no one knows about me:

I cry at every episode of ‘long lost family’.

My key to success is:

Always do a little bit more than people ask of you and be available.

Andy Fletcher: Director

Years in the business:

19 years.

Hobbies:

Running, Walking, Riding, Boxing and time With the Family. 

My burning desire is to:

Sail from the UK to the Med.

Something no one knows about me:

I built my first PC at the Age of 12!

My key to success is:

Always do more than is expected.

Angie Prentis: Head of Finance

Years in the business:

Since 2003.

Zoe Aldridge: Procurement / Finance

Years in the business:

4 years.

Tony Woodhouse: Service Delivery Manager

Years in the business:

9, 7.5 of those as a hands on engineer.

Hobbies:

FA level 2 qualified Football coach, gaming.

My burning desire is to:

Take a tourist trip into outer space.

Something no one knows about me:

I was on blue peter as a kid.

My key to success is:

Every mistake is another learning opportunity.

Chris Martin Smith: Managed Print Specialist

Years in the business:

20 Years (1 year at Solutions).

Hobbies:

Football, supporting WBA and growing vegetables on my allotment.

Something no one knows about me:

I once took a penalty against the mighty Peter Shilton!!

My key to success is:

Two ears and one mouth….

Daniel Parker: Account Manager

Years in the business:

1 year.

Hobbies:

Rugby Coach at Kidderminster Carolians RFC, walks with the family and fine dining (my Mrs knows all the best places to eat).

My burning desire is to:

Watch my son play professional rugby for Worcester Warriors.

Something no one knows about me:

I once bumped into Jay Kay from Jamiroquai at Oxford Services and sat in his Ferrari Enzo talking to him whilst he ate a McDonald’s. He’s a really nice guy.

My key to success is:

If at first you don’t succeed try try again.

Jake Warby: 2nd Line Field Engineer

Years in the business:

4 years.

Hobbies:

90% of me is made of Video Games, TV Series and Movies. Weightlifting and playing my guitar as often as I can!

My burning desire is to:

Compete in eSports at an National level.

Something no one knows about me:

I’ve never been drunk in my life.

My key to success is:

Never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense.

Mike Foster: 2nd Line/Projects Engineer

Years in the business:

5 years.

Hobbies:

Walks with my daughter and football.

My burning desire is to:

Play at Anfield.

Something no one knows about me:

I once had a conversation with Chris Martin at the House of Commons.

My key to success is:

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Tom Langstone: 2nd Line Engineer

Years in the business:

6 Years.

Hobbies:

Gaming, Netflix, Watching Footy (I can’t play) ☹.

My burning desire is to:

Own my own home and delve into property development.

Something no one knows about me:

I was diagnosed with AML in June 2018 and as of October 2020 I am 2 years post-transplant 😊.

My key to success is:

Life’s too short, make the most of it!

Jason Potter: 3rd Line Engineer /Projects

Years in the business:

8 Years.

Gareth Guest: IT Support/Cyber Essentials Auditor

Years in the business:

I’ve been with Solutions4IT for 2 years.

Hobbies:

Go-Karting and Bathams.

My burning desire is to:

Move to a cottage on the coast and work remotely.

Something no one knows about me:

I went to school in Detroit, Michigan.

My key to success is:

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.

Tom Pettit: Level 1 Apprentice Technician

1 year.

Hobbies:

Playing Football and watching the mighty Aston Villa, Gaming, and going out for drinks when Boris lets us.

My burning desire is to:

Pursue a career in IT.

I once rode an elephant in Thailand.

Ozzie: Barketing Manager

Chew a squeaky ball.

Puppy dog eyes can make even the toughest of sales!
