Microsoft Azure Logo

Over the past 2 years we have been implementing Microsoft azure backup across our client base. This backup solution offers both on premise backup to disk and an encrypted disk to cloud backup. One of the many advantages of using this solution is it can manage both virtual and physical servers and it will also backup both Hyper-V and VMware environments.

Instead of switching backup copies from disk to tape and moving the tape to an off-site location, you can use Azure for short-term and long-term retention. Azure doesn’t limit the length of time data remains in a Backup or Recovery Services vault. You can keep data in a vault for as long as you like.

Once the Azure agent is installed on the protected Server it will detect what information is held on the machine including Drives, Exchange, SQL, File data and system state so it is easy to choose what you would like to back up and how long for.

Microsoft Azure provides piece of mind so if the worst should happen we are able to restore quickly and efficiently to get our clients up and running as fast as possible.

At Solutions 4 IT, we offer Cloud-based services of our own, including Microsoft Azure. If you’d like to learn more about this, click the link here.
